Policy Purpose
This policy provides the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS)
security policy statements and commitment to develop, implement, and maintain information
security plans to protect information and critical resources from a wide range of threats to
ensure business continuity, and to minimize business risks for information systems and data of
which the State is considered the owner.
