Policy Purpose
The purpose of this directive is to delegate, clarify and specifically confirm certain
authorities of the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human
Services (NC DHHS) to the Department's Director of the Office of Public Affairs. This
position reports to the Secretary through the Director, Office of Governmental and
Community Relations.
